Meet Lauren

Lauren is a Paralegal who believes that legal guidance should feel like support, not another source of stress. Born and raised in Washington, where she still happily calls home, Lauren was drawn to family law because of how profoundly it shapes people’s lives during vulnerable, transitional moments. She saw how confusing the process can be and felt called to be the steady, reassuring presence on the other side of the table.

With a degree in paralegal studies and psychology, Lauren blends practical legal know-how with a deep understanding of human emotion. Her approach with clients is simple: compassion, clarity, and communication. She makes sure clients feel informed and understood, translating complicated steps into manageable ones and helping families move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling confident about the path ahead.

For Lauren, the most rewarding part of her work is being part of a collaborative process that prioritizes long-term well-being. Whether she is organizing case details, helping clients understand next steps, or offering calm guidance in stressful moments, she loves helping families see the bigger picture and breathe a little easier along the way.

Outside the office, Lauren has more creative hobbies than most craft stores carry supplies for. She loves sewing, baking, painting, writing, and decorating elaborate cakes. And yes, the soundtrack to many of those projects is doom metal, which tends to surprise people and somehow makes the cakes better. She is also passionate about genealogy research, criminal justice reform, and advocating for the fair treatment of pitbull-type breeds.

Lauren’s first job was at a tanning salon in high school, where she learned two valuable lessons: customer care matters, and sunscreen is your best friend. She has also volunteered as a peer educator, ensuring teens had access to accurate reproductive health information. That experience strengthened her belief in accessible education and honest conversations.

Her favorite quote is, “We’re all just walking each other home,” by Ram Dass. It captures her philosophy perfectly. In every case, every conversation, and every family she supports, Lauren is there to guide, steady, and walk alongside.
